Crock Pot Hawaiian BBQ Chicken
I recently made this for dinner and loved how quick and easy this meal was to put together.
Crock Pot Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Recipe
4-6 frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 can pineapple chunks
1 bottle of BBQ Sauce (I used a spicy honey bbq sauce)
1 red onion, chopped (optional)
1 green pepper, diced
1-2 cloves garlic
salt and pepper to taste
Spray the inside of the crock pot with cooking spray. Add frozen chicken breasts and cover with sauce. Pour canned pineapple chunks & green pepper on top. Cook on high for 2-3 hours or on low for 4-6 hours. Add the green onions to the crock pot during the last 30 minutes. Shred the chicken with a fork while still in the crock pot once the chicken is fully cooked. Stir to ensure the chicken is evenly coated with sauce. Serve over a plate of rice.
