Baked Parmesan Fries
Last night I made Handmade Mozzarella Sticks (will post recipe soon) and Baked Parmesan Fries. My husband was pleasantly surprised by this dinner. This recipe is so easy to put together and can be varied to suit different tastes.
NOTE: This recipe can be used for basic salted fries or seasoned fries by omitting the herbs and spices.
Baked Parmesan Fries Recipe
3 Medium Potatoes
2 T. Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 1/2 T. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 t. Thyme
1/4 t. Oregano
1/4 t. Old Bay Seasoning
1/4 t. Garlic Powder
1/8 t. Rosemary
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Chop potatoes lengthwise into 1/8 inch slices.
Place slices in a 1 gallon size ziplock bag along with the seasonings/herbs, Parmesan, and Olive Oil.
Make sure the ziplock is sealed and shake until potatoes have been evenly coated.
Place potatoes evenly on a cookie sheet that has been lined with foil.
Bake for 45 minutes or until fries are golden brown.
